Ausgrid, the poles and wires distributor of electricity to much of Sydney and to most Pooled Energy customers, has advised the introduction of Seasonal Time-of-Use Periods for all customers on Time-of-Use tariffs, effective 1st July 2018.
This means that your peak and shoulder usage will change depending on whether it is a working day and whether it is summer or winter.
Ausgrid has received approval by the Australian Energy Regulator of this change. Pooled Energy is required to comply with these tariff changes.

What this means for you?
- Rates will change with the season and with whether it is a work-day or not.
- If you have solar PV panels or home storage batteries or are thinking of investing in them, please re-calculate. The return on investment will be different and may well be less.
- Pooled Energy will adjust your pool operating schedule to align with this change of tariff.
