Irritation, sensitivity and chlorine odour in conventional chlorine pools are usually not due to chlorine but to chloramines, which are  noxious compounds that are by-products of chlorine reacting with predominantly sweat and urine. in particular, Tri-chloramine exists as a gas that sits just above the water-surface irritating eyes and respiratory systems. These are particularly evident in indoor pools used by swim classes

If you are sensitive to ‘chlorine,’ please try a Pooled Energy pool running Advanced Water Chemistry.  These use a chlorine/bromine chemistry where chloramines generally do not form. The number of types of chemicals used are less than in conventional pools and the amount of chemicals is often 3x – 5x less.  You should have a much better experience.
